2024 Young Adult Scholarship: Investing in Your Future

At Achieve Credit Union, we are committed to supporting the educational aspirations of our young members through the Young Adult Scholarship program. The Scholarship Committee, comprised of Achieve Credit Union's Board of Directors, will be diligently reviewing applications to identify outstanding individuals who embody academic excellence, community engagement, and a clear career objective.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Achieve Credit Union Young Adult Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be members of Achieve CU before March 1, 2024.

  • Fall within the age range of 17-25.

  • Be registered to attend a post-secondary educational institution full-time (at least 12 credit hours) in Fall 2024. This includes universities, colleges, technical schools, trade schools, and vocational institutions.


Scholarship Details

The program aims to award up to four non-renewable scholarships, each valued at $1,000. The allocation includes up to two scholarships for graduating seniors and up to two for currently enrolled full-time students at post-secondary institutions. Among these, the Warren Wallace Education Major Scholarship is a noteworthy opportunity.

Achieve CU retains the right to make adjustments to the program, and applicants are encouraged to apply early to seize this incredible opportunity.

Application Process

To apply for the Achieve Credit Union Young Adult Scholarship, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure you have an Achieve CU account in your name before March 1, 2024.

  2. Complete the application form neatly using a pen or typed.

  3. Include a Career Objective essay and a Need for Financial Assistance statement.

  4. Attach an official transcript from your high school or college. High school seniors must include their SAT or ACT score(s).

  5. Provide two letters of recommendation: one from an educator, counselor, advisor, or coach; one from a personal reference.

  6. High school seniors should include a letter of acceptance from a post-secondary institution, if available.

  7. Postmark your completed application packet by March 1, 2024, to the following address:

Important Dates

  • Postmark your application packet by March 1, 2024.

  • Scholarship recipients will receive notifications by April 4, 2024.

  • Recipients are invited to attend the Annual Meeting on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, to personally receive their scholarship awards.
